Terrorist attacks involving explosives and weapons of mass destruction are real threats. To maintain an edge over terrorist organizations requires strategic planning technology integration, perpetual training, and policy implementation.

Effective control on the movement of vehicles across the routes means prevention of illicit trafficking in arms, ammunition’s, explosives, narcotics and drugs, hazardous chemicals, radioactive and nuclear material.

Micro Sec. VSS is a multi-view, drive-through inspection system capable of scanning cars and vans for concealed threats and contraband.

The system quickly produces images from three sides (left, right and top-down) of the vehicle being examined, resulting in a comprehensive and improved capability to detect suspicious items while simultaneously facilitating the flow of legitimate traffic.

It is a high-throughput screening gateway, allowing approximately 80 vehicles per hour, driven at a speed of 5 kph, vehicles are scanned for threats and illegal goods such as stowaways, explosives, drugs, and alcohol.

In comparison to the technology currently used, the system provides a much clearer image of low density objects that may be hidden in car fenders, tires, trunks, fuel tanks, or under the hood.



A typical medical diagnostic X-ray will expose a person to between five and 100 millirems of radiation. A person scanned by the ZBV would receive only about .010 millirems of radiation.

The extremely low radiation dosage of the Z-Portal is safe for operators, drivers and the environment.

The MINI MSI-Z handheld X-ray system is a compact, single-sided imager that can be used to scan objects in hard-to-reach areas, allowing for the effective screening of a wide variety of items such as suspicious bags, walls, furniture, small boats, aircraft, vehicle tires, and car interiors.

The next generation of long-range detector which is capable of safely & remotely detecting programmed substances like buried arms caches, narcotics stores and underground tunnel systems to approximately 4cmt, from distances of over 300m (detection range depends on the quantity of the explosive) without the need to have actual physical contact with the substance. MICROSEC.ATS  AUDS (Anti-UAV Defence System) is a counter drone system that is designed to disrupt and neutralise unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) or unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) engaged in hostile airborne surveillance and potentially malicious activity. The Blighter AUDS system combines electronic-scanning radar target detection, electro-optical (EO) tracking/classification and directional RF inhibition capability.


MICROSEC.ATS  AUDS is a smart-sensor and effector package capable of remotely detecting small UAVs and then tracking and classifying them before providing the option to disrupt their activity. The system may be used in remote or urban areas to prevent UAVs being used for terrorist attacks, espionage or other malicious activities against sites with critical infrastructure.


The Microsec.ATS Team brings together three different systems, each with the unique capabilities required to create an effective counter UAV system.MSI air security radars are able to DETECT small UAVs in all weather conditions, 24 hours a day flying in urban areas or near to the horizon. With Hawkeye Deployable System (DS) and EO Video Tracker, featuring both a long range colour camera and a high sensitivity Thermal Imager (TI), along with state-of-the-art video tracking technology, is able to TRACK the UAV and, combined with radar target information, classify the target. The operator is then able to make a timely and informed decision to use the CMS, smart RF inhibitor to selectively interfere with the C2 channels on the UAV allowing the system to DISRUPT the UAV’s mission. The smart RF inhibitor uses directional antennas to achieve maximum range of operation with minimum collateral effect.

Thermal imaging cameras
High-resolution,  thermal security cameras provide TV-quality thermal video for long-range, 24/7 video security applications.

Using cooled InSb detectors sensitive to the MWIR waveband and with 640 × 480 resolution, these cameras can detect small targets from extreme ranges, making them the perfect solutions for applications with long perimeters – especially perimeters that can’t be physically secured – and in situations that need as much warning of potential intrusion as possible. That’s why MSI’s TI cameras are the systems of choice for border security, port and coastal security, and offshore security around the world.

Flexible enough to provide both wide area coverage and long-range, high magnification performance, MSI TI provides a continuous zoom thermal optical telescope with 12.5:1 zoom ratio and a variety of optical packages.

Security operators can field MSI thermal security cameras as portable, stand-alone thermal video cameras, multi-sensor surveillance suites with long-range video camera and laser rangefinder on a pan/tilt mechanism, or integrate multiple sensor systems into a long-range, day/night video security network.

Detection Systems
Tunnel Detection

Our products are specifically designed for the detection of all seismic activity associated with the creation of tunnels. This will also detect seismic signals associated with the use of a tunnel including footsteps and the movement of material within the tunnel.

This is a wide area system capable of monitoring up to 1 mile from a single system. In addition the proprietary IP can “see through” surrounding seismic activity often many times larger from that generated from the tunnel activity.

The system is proven to depths of 1000ft and surface distance of 1 500ft, in reality tunnels will be between 20 and 100ft deep – giving a surface detection distance of up to 2000ft depending on activity.

All tunnel activity usually occurs over extended periods of time and will produce large numbers of individual seismic events. The system will calculate the mean position of these events giving the user an accurate location of the tunnel well within the tunnel’s width to enable accurate drilling if required.

Our products will operate fully automatically in a remote location without user intervention once set up. Data can be remotely monitored via any IP or other wireless system. The remote location monitors the data using a standard web browser. Data is typically a site image which is updated by the system in near real time (2 – 3 seconds) showing all detected activity with an icon to identify the activity source.

Drain Detection

The system uses an electro-optical sensor which detects cutting and minor bending of the steel grid. It is connected to a communication processor and communicates through a standard dry contact output or through a long range RS-422 serial output.  Intrusion attempts on the grid structure of drainage disturb the light in the fiber-optics or break the embedded electrical wire to generate an alarm.




Tailored to the specific dimensions of the pipe, drain, open tunnel, canal, air duct or window that it is meant to protect. Extremely robust and sustains heavy water flow. It remains operational even when completely submerged under water for many years. Several techniques are available to ensure consistent water flow and to overcome silt build-up which could block the grid.
